Painting and other art activities can be a form of co-regulation. Art can help children connect with themselves and others. Painting enhances brain function, it can improve memory. Creating something whether its a "masterpiece" or not, can relieve stress and help one feel good about themselves.

Nutrition and Wellness students just finished learning about the importance of one of the 6 essential nutrients - water! They also learned about the career of a food stylist. Then, we combined the two to do a water photoshoot. Their goal? Make the most appealing glass of water. Vote for your favorite in the comments (Part 2)

Students in Culinary Arts 1 made Fruit Salad with Lemon Ricotta Mousse. They practiced properly cutting fruit including a whole pineapple, a mango and a kiwi. They also used a somewhat unfamiliar tool, the microplane, to zest a lemon.
