Middle School PTO
PARENTS AND TEACHERS WORKING TOGETHER TO SUPPORT AND ENRICH ALL HUMBOLDT STUDENTS.
PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization. The PTO consists of parents and teachers working together to support and enrich all students at Humboldt Middle School. We support school staff, help promote student self-esteem, and assist efforts to solve school needs through volunteers and funding. All parents of Humboldt students are encouraged to participate in PTO activities whenever possible, even if you are unable to attend our monthly meetings.
PTO activities happen every day at Humboldt Middle School with the parents who volunteer in and out of school. Helping out in the classroom, volunteering in the library, preparing a special treat for staff appreciation or your child's birthday, chairing a PTO committee, or assisting at a PTO event are all example of PTO activities and involvement.
The heart of the PTO is the everyday working relationships between parents and staff. The effort parents, teachers, staff, and volunteers put forth on a daily basis at Humboldt is extraordinary. On behalf of the PTO, we would like to say thank you to each parent, teacher, staff member and volunteer who works so hard all year long to make our school a safe and educationally enriched environment for kids!
