Introduction:

Forensics prepares students for numerous presentation skills needed in situations outside of the classroom.  Impromptu speaking is a must while prepared speeches also help students build competent communication skills.  Students build the ability to talk to "strangers" and present themselves with self-confidence and poise. Forensics Class students are required to attend six meets during each season.
Coach Gracie Newman has coached Humboldt High School Forensics since 1995, with the exception of one year.
